More information about Voluntary Service:

The Voluntary Service enables everyone to participate in the activities carried out by various organizations in Moldova. As a volunteer you’re doing non-profit work and support a project with your skills and motivation. These projects cover a lot of diverse areas: civil protection, cultural heritage, arts, environment, culture, youth and so on. It is truly a learning service as the volunteers learn a new language and acquire new skills and understanding for cultural differences. Working in local cultural organizations will allow the volunteers to discover the local artistic scene. They will be able to learn how to manage a cultural event, how to identify partners and resources for their own cultural initiatives, how to communicate about their activities and reach larger audiences.

One great opportunity is the European Voluntary Service that enables everyone from the age of 17 to 30 to participate in voluntary service within the EU and outside of it for a period up to 12 months. EVS covers all expenses (accommodation, travel costs, food, visa, small allowance, etc.) If you’re interested you can find more information here:http://europa.eu/youth/country/76/theme/46_en
