Following the encouraging relaunch in 2012, VIENNAFAIR The New Contemporary once again proves with the 9th edition of the fair that Vienna has what it takes to host a successful international art fair. With three new participants from Berlin at once – Galerie Crone, Galerie Christian Ehrentraut, and Galerie Nordenhake – along with Regina Gallery from Moscow, Galerie Clemens Gunzer and ribordy contemporary from Switzerland, Division of Labour from Great Britain, and Steve Turner Contemporary from Los Angeles, VIENNAFAIR The New Contemporary again anticipates exciting artistic positions.

But also young galleries from Eastern and Southeastern Europe will come to Vienna for the first time: kim? Contemporary Art Centre from Riga, Polansky Gallery and Svit from Prague, Czułość, Galeria Stereo, and Dawid Radziszewski Gallery from Poland, : Baril from Romania, Sariev Contemporary from Bulgaria, and Gallery On The Move from Tirana.

“VIENNAFAIR The New Contemporary 2013 spans a network in which both established as well as young, upcoming galleries are represented. With VIENNAFAIR The New Contemporary we have successfully developed an innovative fair format with an unparalleled selection of works,” say Christina Steinbrecher-Pfandt and Vita Zaman, the two artistic directors of VIENNAFAIR The New Contemporary, confident about the selection of galleries that will participate in VIENNAFAIR The New Contemporary from October 10 to 13, 2013 in Hall A at Messe Wien.
