Molnár Ani Gallery: Para-scape

We kindly invite you to the exhibition of Balázs Csepregi and György Szász – Para-scape, on 25 September 2013, at 6 p.m.

Opening speech by Délia Vékony, art historian

On show: until 29 November 2013, from Tuesday to Friday from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The exhibition space is populated by landscapes made out of wood, concept-objects, and everyday and at the same time unusual forms and shapes. From the outset the Ani Molnár Gallery’s exhibition program has emphasized contemporary Hungarian sculpture. This exhibition fosters a dialogue between contemporary art enthusiasts and the most recent works of two mid-career sculptors, Balázs Csepregi and György Szász, artists whose compositions are also reflections on each other’s thoughts and ideas. In this group exhibition, wood, the oldest raw material of the sculptor, will dominate. The properties of wood, its cellular structure and captivating surfaces, proclaim its naturalness as a choice of artistic medium.
