In my painting, I have always been focusing on the rhythmic structures of different objects. I create what I see originating my ideas from the things surrounding me. My paintings are the reflection of that reality. Abstracted from the natural surroundings, realistically depicted corrugated heaters, letterboxes, playground ladders, wire fences or, more recently, scaffoldings – all these stand in contrast with the flat, monochromatic background. Geometrized, „architectural” compositions are supposed to evoke some sort of tension between reality and abstraction. My paintings reflect what interests me most in art – substance and construction.
