Gallery MENO PARKAS – 15 years of activity

We invite You to commemorate the 15 years of activity of Lithuanian Artists' Association's gallery – "Meno parkas" – on October 17th-19th of this year.

During the all fifteen years gallery, by acting according to its priorities (spread of professional art, stimulation of young artists and spread of their artworks, publishing, Lithuania’s and foteign countries contemporary art institutions and artists collaboration), earned appreciation in both, Lithuania and foreign countries.

Kaunas Photography Gallery (Vilniaus g. 2, Kaunas)

Presentation of new gallery “Meno parkas” foreign partners and projects:

1.Presentation “Centre of the Contemporary Art "Znaki Czasu" in Toruń“. Participating: director of Contemporary Art Center in Toruń Paweł Łubowski (Poland) and curators of the projects;

2. Presentation of magazine of Contemporary art “Art Luk” (Poland). Participating: head editor Paweł Łubowski (publisher: Centre of the Contemporary Art "Znaki Czasu").

Kaunas Photography Gallery (Vilniaus g. 2, Kaunas)

Presentation of new gallery “Meno parkas” foreign partners and projects:

1. Presentation “Palais Liechtenstein – Johanniter Kirche in Feldkirch / A Contemporary Art in Ancient Rooms“ (Austria). Participating: president of “Kunst Palais Liechtenstein“ and Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Liechtenstein Markus Keel, artists Arno Egger, Harald Gfader, Thomas Marte;

2. “Creative Circle” – presentation of Croatian Association of Artists HDLU.Participating: HDLU direcktress Ms. Gaella Alexandra Gottwald (Croatia).

Gallery "Meno parkas" (Rotušės a. 27, Kaunas)

Opening of installation “The Gazers” by National prize winner sculptor Robertas Antinis (Lithuania); also will be presented book "MENO PARKAS 1997-2012", reviewing gallery's action of 15 years.

Installation will be opened till 9th of November
