Re: Location 2013
International Artist Exchange Project

Friday, July 19, 2013

The aim of Re: location is to integrate arts groups from diverse cultural backgrounds and to unite artists from the 6 former states of Yugoslavia.

‘Crazy Goat Art Promotions’ led by artist Mike Walton is an International Arts Organisation that promotes creative dialogue and cultural diversity through an on-going exchange programme. Its focus is on contemporary arts and educational partnerships with the creation of exhibitions, residencies, discussions and publications.

A consortium of 11 artists who have a history of study or work at UCLan (University of Central Lancashire, Preston) are creating opportunities to break cultural barriers and gain a greater understanding of the complex issues and artistic differences of the Balkan region commencing with the University of Novi Sad in Serbia. The project offers the chance of an interaction between artists, tutors, students as well as the local arts community and public.
