HORIA MINA is a Romanian artist who lives in Bucharest and studied at The Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest specializing in design. His first publication is dedicated to the three main parts of his work. The first one called Aseptica is about his struggle to invent a color language. A new »alphabet« is being formulated on the relation between colors and states of mind, words and letters. The second part Interventions is dealing with ironic and self-referential comments on works of art created in the past by other artists.

Arguing with 19th century painters, Russian posters creators from the »cold war« era or 18th century masters of engraving, it is again color, which underlines his interventions. Trips and Travels, the third chapter, is a journey with stops in real and imaginary places related to art. During the 80s Horia Mina had several group shows and two one-man shows in Bucharest. He is the winner of I.C.S.I.D. (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design) Grand Prix for his project The Game- Another Mean of Communication.

ALLEGRA NOMAD GALLERY (founded in 2012) does not belong to a particular architectural or geographical space and is always in search of new forms of dialogue with the already existent exhibition spaces for contemporary art and not only, forwarding its efforts towards the offering of support and promotion for the gallery artists. The gallery conceived and organized several exhibitions in Bucharest and Vienna to present the artists: Philippa von Bastha, Horia Mina, Paul Neagu, Sorin Dumitrescu, Nikolai Ghika, Carla Damian and Dario Carratta.

THE-SOLO-PROJECT has been set up by Paul Kusseneers gallery in Brussels and is supported by an array of established galleries in order to address a number of qualities we consider to be missing from the international art agenda. Its aims are to present artwork from a group of international galleries, invited by Paul Kusseneers and his advisors, who in turn have selected artists from their own gallery programme to make a presentation in a clear and defined manner. The seventh edition of the show, due to take place to coincide with Art Basel in June 2014, will make a serious attempt to focus the art gallery going public on this carefully selected group of artists, each presenting solo or collaborative projects.
